By Revendor6 min read

In 2025, Vinted made €1.1 billion in revenue (+38%) and €62 million in net profit (−19%), on €10.8 billion of gross merchandise volume (+47%), according to its results published on 9 April 2026. The company, valued at €8 billion in April 2026, operates in 26 markets. Every figure below is dated and sourced.

You'll find how the numbers have moved over three years, what Vinted does and doesn't publish about its members, and what these figures mean for you as a seller.

What is Vinted's revenue?

€1.1 billion in 2025, up 38% year on year. It's the first time the group has passed the billion mark, according to Vinted's 2025 results announcement, published on 9 April 2026.

The three-year trend, according to the group's annual announcements:

  • 2023: €596.3 million (+61%);

Free cash flow grew by 36% in 2025, to €137 million. Adjusted EBITDA went from €158.9 million in 2024 to €151 million in 2025.

Gross merchandise volume, or GMV, is the total value of items sold on the platform. Revenue is the share Vinted keeps, mainly through fees paid by buyers and services for sellers. Comparing the two published figures, revenue is roughly 10% of GMV in 2025. That's a calculation based on official figures, not a metric Vinted publishes.

How many countries is Vinted in?

26 markets, according to the announcement of 27 April 2026. The list changes fast:

  • in 2025, Vinted launched in Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia;
  • on 22 January 2026, Vinted announced its arrival in the United States, starting with New York, its first market outside Europe;
  • on 1 July 2026, Vinted announced its launch in Australia, after the announcement that gave the figure of 26 markets.

Vinted Go, Vinted's own delivery network, operated in five markets in 2025: Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

How many members does Vinted have?

Vinted doesn't publish a member count in its recent results announcements. Be wary of worldwide figures that circulate without a dated source.

For France, the latest official figure we could find comes from the group's CEO, Thomas Plantenga, quoted by Les Échos in April 2024: 27 million registered members in France. A registered member isn't an active user: that figure counts accounts, not regular buyers or sellers.

How much is Vinted worth?

€8 billion, based on the €880 million secondary transaction Vinted announced on 27 April 2026, led by EQT, Teachers' Venture Growth and Schroders Capital. In October 2024, a similar deal led by TPG valued the company at €5 billion.

A secondary transaction means existing shareholders, early investors and employees, sell their shares to new investors. Vinted isn't raising fresh money: the company funds its growth from its own resources.

What other figures does Vinted publish?

In its impact report published in May 2026, Vinted states that in 2025:

  • its members saved €21.6 billion on adult fashion compared with original prices;
  • buyers paid on average 72% less than the original price;
  • €10.8 billion was paid out to sellers.

The methodology combines 2025 transaction data, a survey of around 50,000 members in nine European countries and economic and environmental modelling. These are estimates published by the company itself: useful, but to be quoted as such.

On headcount, Vinted said it employed more than 2,000 people at the start of 2024 and more than 2,200 at the end of 2024.

What these figures mean for you as a seller

The platform is growing fast: +47% GMV in 2025. That's good news for demand. It also means more competing listings every day, and a platform opening up to new categories and new countries.

The model doesn't change for private sellers: according to Vinted's help page on Buyer Protection, the fee, around 5% of the price plus €0.70, is still paid by the buyer. You receive your listed price. What makes the difference in a growing catalogue is your visibility and how quickly you react: relisting, replying fast, following up with interested buyers.

With a few listings, you can do it by hand. With dozens, or several accounts, it's an hour a day. Revendor automates reposting, brings your accounts' messages into one inbox and tracks your sales and margin.

How to quote Vinted's figures correctly

Always with the year and the source. "Vinted makes 1.1 billion" without saying "in revenue in 2025" can be confused with GMV, which is ten times higher.

Prefer the group's official announcements to statistics aggregators. And keep revenue (what Vinted takes in), GMV (what sells on the platform) and net profit (what's left after all expenses) clearly apart. If you're wondering which status to adopt as selling becomes more professional, our full review of Vinted Pro covers it.
