Connect your AI (Claude, ChatGPT)
Your AI assistant can reason, but it does not know your shop. Once connected to Revendor, it reads your real numbers and answers questions such as:
- "What has been sitting in my stock for more than a month?"
- "How much did I earn this month compared with last month?"
- "Which listings have lots of favourites but no sale?"
- "Summarise my unread messages and suggest a reply to each one."
The connection uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), the standard Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and most assistants use to plug into an application.
This feature requires the Growth or Elite plan.
What the assistant can read
| Data | Detail |
|---|---|
| Sales | Revenue (what you actually receive), number of sales, average sale, best-selling brands, sale-by-sale detail |
| Stock | Items, purchase prices, stock value, how long each item has been in stock |
| Listings | Price, views, favourites and status of your Vinted listings |
| Messages | Your conversations with buyers, price offers included |
What it cannot do
Access is read-only. The assistant cannot publish a listing, change a price, send a message or accept an offer. If it suggests a reply to a buyer, sending it is up to you.
Vinted accounts you have hidden in Revendor are not shown to it.
With Claude
- In Revendor, open My account and copy the address shown in the Connect your AI card.
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it (Revendor) and paste the address.
- Claude opens a Revendor page: check that it is your account, then click Authorize.
The connector then appears in your conversations: turn it on and ask your question.
With ChatGPT
- Copy the address from My account, as above.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors, turn on developer mode in the advanced settings, then Create.
- Paste the address, choose OAuth authentication, then authorize Revendor on the page that opens.
Depending on your ChatGPT subscription, custom connectors may not be available. Claude and ChatGPT menus change often: if a label has changed, look for "connector" in their settings.
With Claude Code, Cursor and others
Some tools cannot open the authorization page and ask for a key instead.
- In the Connect your AI card, click Create a personal token and give it a name that tells you where it is used ("Cursor on my laptop").
- Copy the token right away: it will never be shown again.
- For Claude Code, the card gives you the ready-made command. For other
tools, enter the server address and add the header
Authorization: Bearer <your token>.
A token gives read access to your whole account: do not share it or paste it into a public document.
Cutting off access
The Active access list shows each connected assistant and when it was last used. Revoke cuts access immediately: the assistant gets a refusal on its next question. To reconnect it, you will need to authorize it again.
Revoke a token as soon as you no longer use it, or if you think it has leaked.
If it does not work
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The assistant says your subscription does not include data access | Switch to the Growth or Elite plan, then ask again |
| "Invalid connection request" on the Revendor page | The link has expired: start the connection again from the assistant |
| The assistant can no longer find Revendor | Access was revoked: reconnect it |
| Numbers do not match Vinted | Revendor reads the data synced by the extension: open Vinted with the extension active to trigger a sync |
